Sharon Davis - Wedding Celebrant

Whatever we buy, there are many avenues and competitors – celebrancy is no different (as I'm sure you've discovered from your google search!). I like to know upfront what I am paying and what it includes… which is why I have included my fee but also a breakdown of the fee. We all want value for money but someone wise once said: 'you get what you pay for'. When making your decision, consider that sometimes, it's more than just the fee to consider. It's also knowing that you can trust the person to deliver, and that you're paying in the hope of creating an occasion that makes you smile when you think back on it. I may not be the cheapest celebrant on the market however my fee has been carefully worked out to incorporate the numerous hours I spend designing your ceremony as well as the costs involved in supplying almost everything you need for your ceremony. I believe you will feel absolutely that it was worth every cent… after all, the flowers will not last much beyond a week, the alcohol and food will disappear very quickly (!) but the memories of a wonderful ceremony are there forever!

weddings (and commitment)

There is no fee for the initial 'meet and greet' however a non-refundable deposit of $150 is payable at the first planning meeting. Full payment (total cost of $565) is payable a week prior to the rehearsal (which is usually in the week leading up to the ceremony). In order to reduce stress on the day, it's best to get it all paid for prior.

other ceremonies

renewal and anniversary ceremonies - $400
naming ceremonies - $350

There is a travelling fee of $0.50 per km if your venue is in excess of 160 km (return) from Ballarat.

I am a professional and will spend many hours preparing your beautiful ceremony in my commitment to you and your special day. This will probably be the lowest cost of your whole wedding, so why take the chance of not having exactly what you would like just to save a few dollars?

My commitment is to do everything I can to ensure that your wedding day is fun, memorable and joyful.
